WinUAE is a port of the Ultimate Amiga Emulator from Linux to Windows. It's an official release, as the original author no longer has the time to maintain the project. It requires the KickStart bootup rom image in order to operate and has been code named 'The Fellow Project' which is a highly optimized version of Fellow. This Amiga 500 emulator hasn't been around as long as UAE. UAE also has networking support now through Kaillera. UAE, though difficult to use for many people, is the ultimate Amiga emulator. If you're looking for an Amiga Emulator, look no furthur. The Windows 95 version supports Encrypted 'Amiga Forever' ROM-Files, with the proper key, Picasso96 RTG, and Zorro-III memory up to 64-megs. The emulator used to contain 3 versions in separate exe's, which are now all merged. It emulates sound very well, runs Amiga disks just like the original Amiga did.
